IRC became a mainstay in the Indonesian International Motocross 2013

PT Gajah Tunggal as the license holders of IRC Tires in Indonesia and also as the biggest integrated tire producer in south East Asia, had once again sponsored National Motocross Championship entitled as Indonesian International Motocross 2013. The 1st series of this national championship was held on April, 28th 2013 on MX circuit, Maguwoharjo, Sleman Yogyakarta.

IRC Indonesia Motocross International Championship 2013 is featuring 11 classes which consist of MX2 International, MX2 National, Special Engine 85cc, Special Engine 65cc, MX2 Junior, Special Engine 50cc, Special Engine 65 Novice, MX2 Novice, Special Engine 125-Ex Pro, Special Engine 125-Executive, and Special Engine 125cc.

As the official tire for this international championship, IRC tires is admitted by both national and international crosser that have joined this event because IRC tire are very qualified in motocross track.

“This Motocross event is sponsored by IRC as a channel for national crosser to develop their ability in trail competition arena as well as to measure their ability in comparison with international crosser. The expectation is in the future, not only the international crosser that competing in Indonesia championship, but also our Indonesia crosser able to compete in International Motocross Championship outside Indonesia. In addition to it, we, who has tried to keep on developing IRC tires product, has also utilized this event to sustainably monitor our trail tires iX-05H and iX-09W for purposes of future product development,” as explained by Claudia Dewi Puspita, Brand Manager for IRC.

By using iX-05H as front tire, and iX-09W as rear tire, hundreds of crosser from domestic and overseas were competing to be the best in the trail circuit in Yogyakarta. Though at that moment the weather is blazing, it didn’t reduce the spirit of those crossers to show their best skill in motocross. Even, it was heightened the competition spirit among them.

In MX2 International class, Australian crosser, Lewis Stewart, succeeded to achieve 1st position after overtaken Jerjej, the Slovenia crosser. Stewart able to win 2 competitions in international classes those were available in this competition.

Indonesia International Motocross Championship 2013 will ongoing for 5 series, in which the next 2 series will be held in Kuningan, East Java on Mei 26th. Right after that, the 3rd series will be held in Ciamis, East Java on June 9th, 4th series in Serang, Banten on Oct 20th and the last, the 5th series will be held in Harvest City, Cileungsi, Bogor, East Java on 10th November 2013.
